Local residents recognize American Legion Sanborn-Moore Post 237 Owasso as a vital community hub where neighbors connect and support one another. We are a growing Post and are always looking to expand our membership. Currently we have five officers, an executive committee and 51 members, however, regular meeting attendance could use some care and attention. You are invited & encouraged to join us: the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6pm, at the Owasso Community Center. We also have a monthly fellowship breakfast.

Service through our four pillars
We are dedicated to upholding the four foundational pillars of The American Legion: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. Through these pillars, we provide essential services and support to Veterans, their families, and the wider community of Owasso.

Our unique commitment and core values
What sets our American Legion Post apart is our unwavering commitment to our core values. We advocate for upholding and defending the United States Constitution, and ensuring equal justice and opportunity for everyone without discrimination. We also champion youth education, responsible citizenship, and we honor military service by observing and participating in memorial events, fostering a deep respect for those who served.
We need younger veterans to come aboard and take on the responsibilities of service to our community.
